Dominican Wings (Santo Domingo Las Américas) has commenced revenue operations with its first commercial flight - Santo Domingo Las Américas-Port of Spain - on Friday, February 5. Additional services to Trinidad & Tobago are expected from Puerto Plata.

The charter operator completed its certification with the Dominican Republic's civil aviation regulatory bodies in October last year. As it stands, it operates one A320-200 - HI-968 (cn 561) - on lease from parent Avion Express (X9, Vilnius).
