Air Caraibes (TX, Pointe à Pitre) has unveiled French Blue (Paris Orly) as the name of its new longhaul Low Cost Carrier based in France. Using an A330-300HGW - cn 1727 - the start-up plans to commence flights to Canada, the United States, Mexico and the Dominican Republic this summer using Paris Orly slots awarded to its Guadeloupean parent. As the first A350-900s begin to arrive at sister carrier Air Caraibes Atlantique (CAJ, Paris Orly), so more A330s will be added to French Blue's fleet thus allowing it to further expand its operations.

Groupe Dubreuil will formally unveil the carrier's initial route network and business plans later next month.
