Loong Air (GJ, Hangzhou) has applied to the Civil Aviation Administration of China (CAAC) for permission to expand its operational scope to include scheduled international passenger and cargo flights.

Under the original terms of its licence, the carrier was permitted to operate passenger and cargo flights within China and only cargo flights abroad.

At present, the Hangzhou-based carrier operates fourteen A320-200 (SL)s and three B737-300(F)s on flights to thirty destinations across China.
