Taban Air (TBN, Mashad) has begun revenue B757-200 operations using its only airframe of the type Skyliner Aviation has reported.
EP-TBI (msn 27599), which arrived in Iran on lease from Tajik Air (7J, Dushanbe) back in November last year, was recently tracked in service from Tehran Imam Khomeini to each of Tbilisi and Varna now operating on Taban Air's air operator certificate instead of being wet-leased from Tajik Air.
Taban Air also operates one A310-300, one ARJ85, one B737-400 (also an ex-Tajik Air aircraft previously wet-leased), and five MD-88s on scheduled passenger flights throughout Iran as well as to Iraq, Turkey, Syria, the United Arab Emirates, and the Ukraine.
