Transaviaexport Airlines (Minsk National) has commenced scheduled cargo flights between Minsk National and Tianjin, China the Xinhua news agency reports.

Services will initially run twice per week in cooperation with the Chinese-based air charter service provider Navitrans, Trans Avia Export’s Deputy Director (Commercial), Artem Sikorsky, said.

Trans Avia Export has until now operated cargo charters using a fleet of two B747-200Fs and one B747-300(SF). Its fleet of thirteen Il-76s is also in the process of being reactivated. In June, the carrier announced its intention of acquiring an undisclosed number of B747-400Fs for its planned scheduled operations.
