Silverstone Air Services (Nairobi Wilson) is set to add a maiden DHC-8-100 to its fleet in the form of 5Y-SMP (msn 361). According to Skyliner Aviation, the twinprop is currently at Maastricht in the Kenyan operator's full livery awaiting delivery.
Founded in 2013, Silverstone Air Services plans to offer regular passenger flights connecting Nairobi Wilson, Kisumu, Ukunda, Malindi, and Lamu beginning late September/early October. According to its website, it is also looking to add Fokker 50 capacity to its fleet.
