UVT aero (RT, Bugulma) has been granted permission by Russia's civil aviation authority, Rosaviatsia, to begin international operations. The Tatarstani carrier launched two years ago and has now met the regulatory requirements to start flights to foreign destinations.

UVT has not yet confirmed which countries it will launch to first. However, as previously reported, the airline was considering Nizhnekamsk to Yerevan in Armenia, and Baku Heydar Aliev International in Azerbaijan.

Additionally, UVT has been authorised to fly to the exclave of Kaliningrad and will launch Kazan International-Kaliningrad and Ufa-Kaliningrad flights from October 4.

UVT Aero has bases at Kazan and Bugulma. According to the ch-aviation fleets database, its fleet is made up of eight Bombardier Aerospace CRJ200s.
