Emirates (EK, Dubai International) has detailed the first twenty-nine flydubai-operated routes it will codeshare on as part of an extensive partnership agreement between the two Dubai-based carriers announced in July this year. Passengers will be able to book from October 3 onwards for travel commencing on October 29.
The flydubai-operated routes from Dubai International which Emirates will place its "EK" flightcode on include:

- Rostov Platov-on-Don (Russia);
- Sarajevo (Bosnia & Herzegovina);
- Skopje (Macedonia);
- Sofia (Bulgaria);
- Tbilisi (Georgia);
- Kuwait (Kuwait);
- Baku Heydar Aliev International (Azerbaijan);
- Lucknow (India);
- Ahwaz (Iran);

Future phases of the partnership will see the creation of additional city-pair connections as the codeshare agreement is expanded and both airlines’ networks are optimised.
