MAT Macedonian Airlines (Skopje) has been forced to give up its services from Skopje to Berlin Schönefeld, Dusseldorf Intl, Hamburg Fuhlsbüttel and Rome Fiumicino after Eurocontrol has banned the carrier from entering German and Italian airspace because of unpaid air traffic control fees. It continues to serve Istanbul Ataturk, Vienna and Zurich from its Skopje base.
