City Airline (Gothenburg Landvetter) is planning to set up several joint ventures with local investors in secondary Swedish cities that will operate feeder services to its Gothenburg Landvetter base allowing international connections to European destinations. It will lease two ex-SAS Scandinavian Airlines (SK/Copenhagen Kastrup) MD-87s and add new leisure routes in 2010: Gothenburg Landvetter-Alicante: 2x weekly MD-87 service starting on April 2 Gothenburg Landvetter-Athens: weekly MD-87 service starting on April 24 Gothenburg Landvetter-Barcelona: 3x weekly MD-87 service starting on April 1 Gothenburg Landvetter-Malaga: 3x weekly MD-87 service starting on March 29 Gothenburg Landvetter-Milan Malpensa: 3x weekly MD-87 service starting on April 15 Gothenburg Landvetter-Palma de Mallorca: weekly MD-87 service starting on April 3 Gothenburg Landvetter-Rome Fiumicino: 3x weekly MD-87 service starting on April 1
