Embark Aviation has announced it has purchased Idaho-based Sun Valley Air Club (Sun Valley) and Colorado-based Telluride Air Club (Telluride) and merged them under a newly formed subsidiary Embark Air Club.

The airline management and strategy firm hopes to use the new subsidiary and the two acquired clubs to expand the leisure-oriented private air services to Sun Valley and Telluride out of the main cities on the West Coast. Embark Air Club will continue to offer "ride share" type of service for its members, wherein they are able to fly to either of the popular ski and mountain resorts for a fixed price.

Embark Air Club plans to announce a new consolidated brand and other service improvements shortly. It also intends to expand the network of flights to each of Sun Valley and Telluride and will evaluate other destinations for future growth.

All flights of Embark Air Club will continue to be operated by Mountain Aviation (Denver Rocky Mountain).
