Sky Express (Russian Federation) (Moscow Vnukovo) has launched international charter services from Kazan, Krasnodar and Rostov to the Mediterranean using its fleet of B737-300s and B737-500s. It is planning to lease two more ex-Garuda Indonesia (GA/Jakarta Intl) B737-300s. Russian billionaire Oleg Deripaska has acquired the low-cost carrier and is reportedly considering a close cooperation or merger between Sky Express and ALK – Airlines of Kuban (GW/Krasnodar). ALK along with the airports of Adler/Sochi, Anapa, Gelendzik and Krasnodar are also owned by Oleg Deripaska.
