Royal Air Maroc (AT, Casablanca Mohammed V) has taken delivery of its first of four B737-8s on order from Boeing (BOE, Washington National). Following a handing-over ceremony last week, CN-MAX (msn 60008) was positioned from Seattle Boeing Field to Casablanca Mohammed V via Gander on December 22.
According to the ch-aviation schedules module, the twinjet is provisionally slated to enter revenue service on January 1, 2019 on flights from Casablanca Mohammed V to London Heathrow. Thereafter, service out of Casablanca is as follows:
- Paris Orly (starts January 2);
- Toulouse Blagnac (starts January 3);
- Marrakech (starts January 4);
- Bordeaux Mérignac (starts January 5);
- Marseilles (starts January 6);
- London Gatwick (starts January 20);
- Lagos (starts January 31);
- Beirut (starts March 31);
- Brussels National (starts March 31);
- Agadir Al Massira (starts April 1);
- Milan Malpensa (starts April 1);
- Bologna (starts April 2);
- Libreville Leon M'Ba (starts April 2);
- Barcelona El Prat (starts April 4);
- Madrid Barajas (starts April 4);
- Rome Fiumicino (starts April 7).
Royal Air Maroc also operates six B737-700s and thirty-two B737-800s.
