MachJet International (Sunshine Coast) has added two Beech (twin turboprop) King Air B200s and will deploy them on charter flights on behalf of "fly-in, fly-out" (FIFO) companies, parent firm McDermott Aviation Group said in a Facebook post.
Each of the B200s will be equipped with 12 passenger seats.
One of the two turboprops will be based out of Brisbane International to ensure easy connections for passengers arriving or departing on scheduled flights.
According to its website, MachJet International already operated a single B200 based out of Sunshine Coast, as well as a Cessna Aircraft Company Citation SII business jet. The carrier's fleet also includes various helicopters.
