FedEx Express (FX, Memphis International) firmed up twenty B767-300F options with Boeing (BOE, Washington National) on June 22 bringing its overall backlog for the type to 48.

In a stock market filing, the US-based logistics giant said ten of the additional B767Fs would be delivered in fiscal 2024 (i.e. June 1, 2023, to May 31, 2024) while the other ten will arrive in fiscal 2025 (i.e. June 1, 2024, to May 31, 2025).

Overall, FedEx expects all 48 of the widebody freighters to be in place between June 2021 and late May 2026. It still has options for an additional fifty B767F aircraft.

The ch-aviation fleets module shows FedEx currently operates 103 B767-300Fs alongside forty-seven B777-Fs, 109 B757-200(SF)s, twenty-three A300-600R(F)s, and forty-two A300-600Fs.
