Poland’s SkyTaxi plans US and China charter operations

Polish charter airline SkyTaxi (Poland) (TE, Wroclaw) plans to expand its cargo charter operations to the United States and China, confirmed airline manager Greg Rybczynski.

He said the Wroclaw-based privately-owned carrier recently acquired CCAR-129 approval from the Civil Aviation Authority of China and had also applied for a US Foreign Air Carrier Permit.

"During the summer we extended our operational capabilities by acquiring CCAR-129 approval in preparation for future China operations. In parallel we also work with (the US Department of Transport/Federal Aviation Administration) DoT/FAA to get FAR-129 approval as well. All this in order to expand the fleet for intercontinental operations. As it’s well known, SkyTaxi has good relationships with Air Transport Services Group, Chapman Freeborn, and DHL International, but for obvious reasons I’m not in a position to disclose the future plans as to the details," he told ch-aviation.

SkyTaxi has applied for scheduled and chartered, passenger, property and mail cargo flights to the US and for exemption authority to enable it to provide the services while its application is pending....

CSO City Fly adding a Saab 340 on wet-lease from Skytaxi

CSO City Fly (Magdeburg/Cochstedt) will replace the Metroliner wet-leased from BinAir (BID, Munich) by a Saab 340A from Polish charter carrier SkyTaxi (Poland) (TE, Wroclaw) from next month. It will use the aircraft for its Magdeburg/Cochstedt-Munich-Berne route.

Cochstedt-Munich flights extended to Berne by CSO City Fly

CSO City Fly (Magdeburg/Cochstedt) is planning to extend its weekdaily Magdeburg/Cochstedt-Munich flight onwards to Berne. It uses a Metroliner operated by BinAir (BID, Munich) on the route.

CSO City Fly (Magdeburg/Cochstedt) is a new subsidiary of Magdeburg/Cochstedt airport which has decided to take matters into own hands and launch a weekdaily Magdeburg/Cochstedt-Munich service itself under the CSO City Fly brand. It has introduced the new service on December 1 using a Metroliner 23 of Binair (BID/Munich).
