Flyglinjen (Stockholm Arlanda) will begin ERJ-145 operated flights between Kristianstad and Stockholm Arlanda with effect from August 12. The flights will be operated by bmi regional (BM, Aberdeen Dyce) replacing the current service, operated by a Minoan Air (MAV, Heraklion) Fokker 50 SX-BRM (c/n 20207), which ended on June 20. The Swedish carrier added that its Jönköping to Stockholm Arlanda, which currently operates using a Saab 340A belonging to SkyTaxi (Poland) (TE, Wroclaw), would likely be replaced with a jet as well. Flyglinjen CEO, Philip Löfgren, says he sees his airline's relationship with bmi developing into a long term commitment.
