Motor Sich Airlines (M9, Zaporizhzhia) will début Kherson's first regular flight with a 3x weekly flight to Moscow Vnukovo to begin from July 27. Flights will operate using an An-140. Kherson Airport, which serves its namesake, an important port on the Black Sea and Dnieper River, was reopened to traffic in Spring 2013 after years of inactivity.
