Bek Air (BEK, Almaty International) has ordered seven SSJ 100/95s from Sukhoi Civil Aircraft (Zhukovsky) following the signing of an agreement at the ongoing Farnborough International Airshow 2014. Long range variants, three SuperJets will arrive next year with the remaining four due in 2016. The aircraft will be configured in a full-economy layout with 103 passengers.

"This document opens new prospects on the aviation operations market for SSJ100 aircraft within Eurasian Economic Union, which was founded according to agreement signed in Astana in May 2014 by the Heads of Belarus, Kazakhstan and Russia," a statement read.

Bek Air currently operates a fleet of six Fokker 100s on an exclusively domestic Kazakh network. The carrier does, however, intend to begin regional operations to Russia, Asia and the Middle East in the near future.
