Finnair (AY, Helsinki Vantaa) has retired its last MD-80s and taken delivery of its first ex-Virgin Atlantic (VS/London Heathrow) A340-300. It has announced additional new routes: Helsinki-Lisbon: 3x weekly A320-200 service starting on March 29, 2007 Helsinki-Ljubljana: 4x weekly EMB-170 service starting on April 6, 2007 Helsinki-Madrid: daily A320-200/A321-200 service starting on October 30 (replacing one-stop service via Stockholm Arlanda) Finnair will also operate both daily Helsinki-Manchester services non-stop giving up the stopover at Stockholm Arlanda on one of the two flights as of November.
