Greenland Express (Aalborg) says it will use Let 410s for its domestic Greenlandic operations, slated to begin before the end of August this year. Along with Aluu Airlines (Nuuk), the two start-ups were granted the traffic rights by Greenland's government in the middle of last month.

Greenland Express says it is studying flights between Nuuk, Upernavik, Ilulissat, Aasiaat, Sisimiut, Maniitsoq, and Paamiut as well as possible helicopter flights to cities in southern Greenland.

The virtual carrier is expected to resume operations later next month offering scheduled flights between Copenhagen Kastrup and Billund in Denmark and Kangerlussuaq and Narsarsuaq in Greenland.
