FlyPelican (FP, Newcastle Williamtown) is to enter the scheduled services sector with the launch of passenger flights between Newcastle Williamtown and Canberra on June 1 to be followed by Newcastle to Sydney Kingsford Smith and onwards to Mudgee flights on June 11. Service is on-board Jetstream 32s.

All routes will operate twice-daily during weekdays and once on Sundays.

FlyPelican also provides corporate air transport, fly-in-fly-out, ad-hoc and air freight charter services. Staff and management worked for the carrier's predecessor, Aeropelican (Newcastle Lake Macquarie), prior to its merger with the now defunct Brindabella Airlines (Canberra).
