Aerolíneas Argentinas (AR, Buenos Aires Jorge Newbery) has begun phasing out its fleet of twenty-two B737-700s with the first - LV-CAM (msn 30243) - having been returned to its lessor on Monday, October 5.

The aircraft are to be replaced by an incoming fleet of twenty new B737-800s which are scheduled to begin arriving from Boeing (BOE, Washington National) between 2016 and 2018.

The -700s are currently used on flights throughout Argentina as well as to Brazil, Bolivia, Chile, Paraguay, Peru, Uruguay, and Venezuela.
