Amaszonas Paraguay (Asunción) has begun scheduled international operations following its inaugural Asunción-Montevideo Carrasco, Uruguay flight on Friday, March 18. The 3x weekly service operates on-board a CRJ200.
The Amaszonas (AZN, La Paz El Alto) subsidiary, which has operated domestic Paraguayan flights from Asuncion to Ciudad del Este since its launch in September last year, conducted its first international operations late last year with charter flights to Punta del Este, Uruguay.
