Money transfer conglomerate Prabhu Group is set to acquire a 60% stake in Nepali carrier Simrik Airlines (Kathmandu) with a Letter of Intent signed last week.
According to Aviation Nepal, the deal is expected to be finalized in the coming weeks.
Prabhu Group acquired another Nepali operator, Muktinath Airlines, in August 2015 adding to its growing portfolio of interests in the United States, Nepal, and Malaysia.
Simrik Airlines operates Beech 1900Ds and Do228s on regular passenger flights throughout Nepal.
