Thomas Cook Airlines UK (MT, Manchester Int'l) will wet-lease a pair of A320-200s from SmartLynx Airlines (6Y, Riga) this summer the Latvian ACMI/charter specialist has announced.

According to a statement, YL-LCL (msn 533) and YL-LCO (msn 1873) will be based out of Birmingham Int'l and London Gatwick respectively for a contract beginning Apri 29 and ending on October 31.

The twinjets add to a pair of A321-200s the UK leisure specialist will lease from Lithuanian ACMI/charter operator Avion Express (X9, Vilnius) also this summer. As previously reported, between May 1 and October 27, 2017, the two aircraft will be based out of Manchester Int'l for flights to resort destinations along and off the Mediterranean, Black Sea, and North African coasts.
