Fly Ernest (Milan Malpensa) has taken delivery of its maiden aircraft, an A319-100, which was delivered late last week. Skyliner Aviation reports EI-FVG (msn 1362) was positioned from Madrid Barajas to Milan Malpensa on March 15. The aircraft is leased from ECAF I.

Until now, FlyErnest had operated as a virtual carrier relying on capacity sourced from Mistral Air (Rome Fiumicino) to conduct flights between Italy and Albania.

As part of its transition away from virtual operations, FlyErnest secured its Air Operator's Certificate (AOC) from the Italian civil aviation authority (Ente Nazionale per l'Aviazione Civile - ENAC) in late October of last year.
