Taron-Avia (Erebuni) has revised its operational plans and now intends to begin scheduled passenger services later this month with flights to Russia.

Whereas the Armenian operator has previously set start dates of August 2016, delayed to January 2017, a press release indicates that effective April 25, it will roll out return services from Gyoumri, Armenia, to each of Krasnodar (2x weekly), Rostov Platov (1x weekly), and Samara Kurumoch (1x weekly) using B737-500 equipment.

Taron Avia currently offers passenger charters services using a trio of B737-500s. While two machines are currently undergoing maintenance in each of Amman Queen Alia and Khartoum, one, EK73772 (msn 28472), is in service for Sudan's Badr Airlines (J4, Khartoum).
