Malaysia Airlines (MH, Kuala Lumpur International) has announced it will be using its A380-800s to meet an expected surge in demand for flights to Seoul Incheon and Tokyo Narita during the third quarter of the year.

In its 1Q17 report, the carrier said the services would be mounted on an ad-hoc basis with the A380s continuing to ply their double-daily Kuala Lumpur International-London Heathrow services during this time. However, owing to runway restrictions, its services to Jeddah International will be operated using the A330-300 instead.

In the same report, Malaysia Airlines also confirmed the first of its twenty-five B737-8s on order from Boeing (BOE, Washington National) would arrive during the fourth quarter of 2019.
