Okay Airways (BK, Tianjin) has announced a major commitment with Boeing (BOE, Washington National) involving narrow- and wide-body jets.

In a statement issued during the ongoing 2017 Paris Airshow at Paris Le Bourget, the Chinese carrier placed a firm order for eight B737 MAX 10s and seven B737-8s. It also signed a Memorandum Of Understanding for five B787-9s as part of its long-term fleet strategy and expansion.

"We are committed to investing in our aircraft fleet in order to keep growing ahead of the market and enhancing our customers' flying experience," said Wang Shusheng, chairman of Okay Airways.

Okay Airways is an all-Boeing operator employing one B737-300(F), seventeen B737-800s, and four B737-900(ER)s on flights to forty-three destinations across China, Japan, and Thailand.

In February 2016, Okay Airways committed to Boeing for eight B737-8s and three B737-9s while securing options for eight additional B737 MAX 8s.
