Zagros Airlines (Iran) (IZG, Abadan) has signed a Memorandum of Understanding (MOU) with Airbus (AIB, Toulouse Blagnac) for twenty-eight new aircraft covering twenty A320neo and eight A330neo.

The commitment was signed during the 2017 Paris Air Show at Paris Le Bourget. Finalization of the contract is subject to all necessary approvals being secured, including those from the US Office of Foreign Assets Control (OFAC).

Zagros Airlines currently operates one A319-100, eight A320-200s (two of which are leased from Dart Airlines and Khors Aircompany), two A321-200s, five MD-82s, and three MD-83s on scheduled passenger flights throughout Iran as well as to Bahrain, Kuwait, and Iraq.
