The Malaysian government has put its B737-700(BBJ) up for sale with a reserve price of MYR38 million ringgits (USD8.97 million).

M53-01 (msn 29274) is an 18-year-old aircraft delivered to Malaysia Airlines (MH, Kuala Lumpur International) as 9M-BBJ in November 1999. Featuring 31 seats, it is currently operated by the Royal Malaysian Air Force (RMF, Kuala Lumpur Simpang) for VIP duties.

According to official documents seen by ch-aviation, the tender is open to any company registered in Malaysia or individual citizen of Malaysia.

Bids are due by November 20.
