MyWay Airlines (MJ, Tbilisi) has taken delivery of its maiden aircraft following the arrival of B737-800 4L-MWA (msn 35073) in Tbilisi last month. It was recently joined by a second of the type, 4L-BQJ (msn 35075), last week.

My Way Airlines is in the process of completing its AOC certification with the Georgian civil aviation authority (GCAA). It is backed by China's Hualing Group with plans to offer regional Asian and European flights initially before branching off into the longhaul niche with B777 flights to North America.

At present, its only scheduled competition is Georgian Airways (A9, Tbilisi) which operates three B737-700s, one Challenger 850, one CRJ100ER, one CRJ200LR, and two E190s on flights covering twenty destinations across western Europe, Russia, and the Middle East.
