Jet2 (United Kingdom) (LS, Leeds/Bradford) has signed a long-term damp lease agreement with Latvian ACMI/charter specialist SmartLynx Airlines (6Y, Riga) covering the provision of A321ceo capacity this summer.
In a statement, SmartLynx said Airbus twinjet YL-LCV (msn 2216) would be deployed to Jet2's Birmingham, GB base between May 15 and October 31. From there, it will operate on services to each of Rhodes, Tenerife Sur, Fuerteventura, Larnaca, Palma de Mallorca, Malaga, Ibiza, Menorca Mahón, and Lanzarote among other leisure destinations.
