Cobalt (Larnaca) has announced it will commence scheduled passenger services to London Heathrow, its third London gateway, with the onset of the 2018 Summer Season.

The Cypriot boutique carrier said in a statement daily flights to Heathrow from Larnaca would commence on March 27, 2018, using A320-200 equipment. Once operational, the route will compliment Cobalt's existing services to London Gatwick (12x weekly) and London Stansted (5x weekly).

“We are delighted to add London Heathrow to our UK network which is a key market for Cyprus tourism and business," airline CEO Andrew Madar said in a statement adding that the schedule is timed to appeal to both business and leisure passengers.

Cobalt declined to comment on whom they are leasing/have acquired the Heathrow slots from.
