Royal Air Maroc (AT, Casablanca Mohamed V) is looking to add more Embraer Regional Jets to its fleet of four E190s, all of which are leased from Nordic Aviation Capital.

The Brazilian government said Moroccan Prime Minister Saadeddine Othmani raised the possibility of the purchases during recent talks with President Michel Temer in Brasilia.

Royal Air Maroc has yet to publically announce its selection for a new regional jet order having considered offerings from each of Embraer, Sukhoi Civil Aircraft, and Bombardier Aerospace.

RAM currently uses its E190s on flights covering domestic Moroccan services as well as thinner routes to destinations in North and West Africa, Western Europe, and Scandinavia.
