Finnair (AY, Helsinki Vantaa) has put its first A330-300 into service on March 26. It will launch weekly seasonal B757-200 service from Helsinki via Halifax to Miami on November 9 replacing seasonal service to Fort Lauderdale. Finnair has temporarily suspended its Helsinki-Mumbai route until October 25 when it will resume three times weekly A330-300 service on the route. It has entered into a codeshare agreement with Dragonair (KA/Hong Kong) allowing Finnair to offer connections to cities in mainland China via Hong Kong. It is planning to retire its last MD-11 from scheduled service in mid-February 2010.
