Zoom Air (India) (ZOM, Delhi International) has signed an agreement with fellow Indian operator Club One Air (Delhi International) for the dry-lease of a CRJ200. According to a press release, the aircraft will be deployed on Zoom Air's UDAN flights in India's northeast.

"We believe this agreement will play an important role in promoting the prime minister's ambitious regional air connectivity scheme, UDAN," Rajan Mehra, chief executive officer, Club One Air, said.

Zoom Air currently operates three CRJ-200s of which two are dry-leased from Magpie Aviation Leasing while the other is dry-leased from Regional One. It runs regular flights between Delhi International, Jabalpur, Kolkata, and Tezpur.

Zexus Air Services-run Zoom Air has been awarded eight route authorities during January's second round of UDAN allocations.
