Blue Wings (Düsseldorf) has been forced to temporarily suspend operations between March 29 and May 4 after the German aviation authorities did not extend its temporary operating license saying the carrier did no longer have the necessary minimum capital reserves to continue operations. Russian shareholder National Reserve Corporation has offered its 48% stake in Blue Wings to Aeroflot (SU/Moscow Sheremetyevo) as a result of the grounding of the carrier. After reportedly also having received additional investments from investors in Russia and in the United Arab Emirates, Blue Wings has now resumed scheduled and charter operations and will wet-lease two A320-200s to Elite Aviation (United Arab Emirates) (Abu Dhabi Intl). It has announced a large amount of new scheduled routes in the meantime: Berlin Schönefeld-Antalya: weekly A320-200 service starting on June 20 Berlin Schönefeld-Beirut: weekly A320-200 service starting on June 17 Berlin Tegel-Abu Dhabi: 2x weekly A320-200 service starting on June 17 Berlin Tegel-Istanbul Ataturk: 2x weekly A320-200 service starting on June 16 Dusseldorf Intl-Abu Dhabi: 3x weekly A320-200 service starting on June 17 Dusseldorf Intl-Antalya: 2x weekly A320-200 service starting on June 15 Dusseldorf Intl-Beirut: weekly A320-200 service starting on June 18 Dusseldorf Intl-Berlin Schönefeld-Amman Queen Alia: weekly A320-200 service (already launched) Dusseldorf Intl-Berlin Schönefeld-Beirut: weekly A320-200 service starting on June 6 Dusseldorf Intl-Damascus: weekly A320-200 service starting on June 23 Dusseldorf Intl-Erbil: weekly A320-200 service (already launched) Dusseldorf Intl-Istanbul Ataturk: 2x weekly A320-200 service starting on June 17 Dusseldorf Intl-Karaganda: weekly A320-200 service (already launched) Frankfurt Intl-Antalya: 2x weekly A320-200 service starting on June 15 Frankfurt Intl-Istanbul Ataturk: 2x weekly A320-200 service starting on June 18 Hamburg Fuhlsbüttel-Antalya: weekly A320-200 service starting on June 20 Hanover-Antalya: weekly A320-200 service starting on June 16 Hanover-Istanbul Ataturk: 2x weekly A320-200 service starting on June 16 Karlsruhe/Baden-Baden-Antalya: weekly A320-200 service starting on June 17 Karlsruhe/Baden-Baden-Istanbul Ataturk: weekly A320-200 service starting on June 22 Karlsruhe/Baden-Baden-Moscow Sheremetyevo: 2x weekly A320-200 service starting on June 16 Leipzig/Halle-Antalya: 2x weekly A320-200 service starting on June 16 Leipzig/Halle-Moscow Sheremetyevo: 2x weekly A320-200 service starting on June 18 Munich-Antalya: weekly A320-200 service starting on June 18 Munich-Istanbul Ataturk: 2x weekly A320-200 service starting on June 18 Münster/Osnabrück-Moscow Sheremetyevo: 2x weekly A320-200 service starting on June 15 Nuremberg-Antalya: weekly A320-200 service starting on June 18 Stuttgart-Antalya: weekly A320-200 service starting on June 21 Stuttgart-Istanbul Ataturk: 2x weekly A320-200 service starting on June 17 It again operates up to nine weekly A320-200 services between Dusseldorf Intl and Moscow Sheremetyevo but has not resumed its Dusseldorf Intl-St. Petersburg route.
