Nordavia (5N, Arkhangelsk) has taken delivery of its first B737NextGen following the arrival of VP-BYY (msn 30038) in Arkhangelsk on Tuesday, May 15.

The B737-700 will be joined by another former AeroMéxico jet, msn 28262, in the coming weeks. Both aircraft are leased from AerCap and, according to Russia's, will be joined by another -700 and a maiden B737-800 later this year.

Nordavia currently operates nine B737-500s on scheduled flights throughout Russia as well as to Oslo Gardermoen in Norway and Tbilisi and Batumi in Georgia.
