SAS Scandinavian Airlines (SK, Copenhagen Kastrup) has taken delivery of its first of eight A350-900s due from Airbus (AIB, Toulouse Blagnac). Flightradar24 ADS-B data shows SE-RSA (msn 358) was ferried from Toulouse Blagnac to the Nodric carrier's Copenhagen Kastrup hub on Friday, November 29.

According to the ch-aviation schedules module, the A350's long-haul service entry is slated for January 28, 2020, when it will start Copenhagen Kastrup-Chicago O'Hare flights. This will be followed by Beijing Capital on February 29 and New York Newark on March 29, 2020.

SAS said in its 3Q financials that it expects four A350-900s to deliver in its FY2019/20 (i.e. November 1, 2019 to October 31, 2020) and four in FY2020/21 (i.e. November 1, 2020 to October 31, 2021).

Other widebodies in SAS's fleet include nine A330-300s and seven A340-300s.
