Air Busan (BX, Busan) has introduced its new A321-200neo(LR) onto domestic services on April 10. HL8366 (msn 9234), the first of four A321neo the carrier is expecting this year, was ferried from Hamburg Finkenwerder to Seoul Incheon via Novosibirsk on March 17/18.

Having positioned to Busan on April 4, the aircraft operated two sectors to Seoul Gimpo, as well as a return service to Jeju from South Korea's second-most-populous city on April 10, according to Flightradar24 ADS-B data. The 220-seat aircraft has remained inactive since then.

Ultimately the Asiana Airlines LCC plans to use the aircraft on international services once the COVID-19 pandemic restrictions have been lifted. Air Busan expects to serve destinations including Singapore Changi, Phuket, Jakarta Soekarno-Hatta, and Delhi International with the A321-200neo(LR).

According to the ch-aviation fleets module, the airline operates a fleet of 27 aircraft, including eight A320-200s, eighteen A321-200s, and the single A321neo(LR).
