British Airways (BA, London Heathrow) has taken delivery of its first B787-10 nearly six months later than originally planned.

G-ZBLA (msn 60637) was ferried from Charleston International to London Heathrow on June 28, 2020. It is the first of 12 of the type which British Airways has on firm order from Boeing. The aircraft was originally due to deliver in January 2020.

British Airways already operates twelve B787-8s and eighteen B787-9s. The airline does not have any further known -8s or -9s on order.

The carrier's B787-10s will be equipped with eight first-class seats, 48 business class seats, 35 premium economy, and 165 economy class.
