Trans Guyana Airways (TGY, Georgetown Ogle) has announced that it will restart scheduled international flights on November 1, 2020, with a new 5x weekly route from Georgetown Ogle to Bridgetown.

The carrier plans to run the route using Beech 1900Ds.

Trans Guyana Airways suspended all scheduled international flights in late March 2020 after Guyana's borders closed to halt the spread of the COVID-19 pandemic. Before that, the airline's only international route was to Paramaribo International in Suriname. During the suspension of its scheduled international flights, Trans Guyana Airways operated frequent rescue charters to both Suriname and Barbados.

The carrier, which continues to operate domestic flights within Guyana, operates three Beech 1900Ds, six Cessna (single turboprop) C208 Grand Caravans, and a single BN-2.
