SCAT Airlines (DV, Shymkent) launched a fifth-freedom service from Shymkent to Singapore Changi via Sanya on October 20, 2026. Flights are operated 2x weekly using B737-8 aircraft. The service is Singapore's first direct connection to Central Asia since 2019. SCAT already serves Southeast Asia through its Shymkent-Bangkok Suvarnabhumi route, launched in December 2025.
