Wings Air (Indonesia) (IW, Jakarta Soekarno-Hatta) is reportedly planning to retire its remaining four MD-82s and single MD-83 by the end of the month. It has mainly operated its MD-80s on behalf of parent Lion Air (JT, Jakarta Soekarno-Hatta) that has added a total of eight B737-800s and nine B737-900s this year already. Wings Air will continue to operate regional services with 17 ATR 72-500s and two DHC-8-300s.
