Sunclass Airlines (DK, Copenhagen Kastrup) is poised to add at least one A321-200NX to its fleet, its first A320neo Family aircraft. ch-aviation research revealed D-AZXO (msn 11690), a brand new aircraft, has already been painted in the carrier's livery while it awaits delivery from Hamburg Finkenwerder.

The aircraft is likely to be registered OY-VKA upon delivery.

Sunclass Airlines did not respond to ch-aviation's request for comment regarding the timeline for delivery and whether it would be adding more A321neo in the near future.

The Danish leisure specialist currently operates nine A321-200s. These aircraft are 11.4 years of age on average and all but one were inherited from its predecessor carrier, Thomas Cook Airlines Scandinavia, according to the ch-aviation fleets module. One aircraft was taken over from Nordwind Airlines in mid-2022, after the Russian carrier returned it in early March of that year shortly after the imposition of Western sanctions. Sunclass also operates one A330-200 (to be retired after the current winter season), one A330-300, and one A330-900.
