British Airways (BA, London Heathrow) and Oneworld partner JAL - Japan Airlines (JL, Tokyo Haneda) have announced that they will launch their joint venture between the European Union and Japan from October 1. The two carriers had already received government approval in May to share revenues and costs on these routes. BA currently operates from London Heathrow to Tokyo Haneda and Tokyo Narita. JAL offers non-stop services from Narita to Frankfurt International, London Heathrow and Paris CDG as well as between Haneda and Paris CDG.
