Ethiopian Airlines (ET, Addis Ababa International) has signed a memorandum of understanding (MoU) with Airbus (AIB, Toulouse Blagnac) covering eleven A350-900s. Once firmed, this impending commitment, signed during the Dubai Airshow 2023, will take the carrier's total A350 order book to 33 including four A350-1000s that are yet to be delivered.

According to the ch-aviation fleets module, Ethiopian currently operates twenty A350-900s.

Earlier this week, Ethiopian also ordered eleven B787-9s (with options for 15 more) alongside twenty B737-8s (with options for 21 more) from Boeing (BOE, Washington National).

Aside from the A350s, Ethiopian's widebody fleet also includes six B777-200(LR)s and four B777-300(ER)s.
