Cat Aviation (CAZ, Zurich) has retired its only Gulfstream Aerospace jet as it consolidates its fleet around Dassault Aviation aircraft.
G650ER HB-JLO (msn 6521) operated for the last time on April 30, 2024, flying from Jersey via Zurich to Basel/Mulhouse/Freiburg, CH. As previously reported by ch-aviation, it was subsequently re-registered to Nomad Aviation (NA, Zurich) under the same Swiss registration.
Following the retirement of the 2023 vintage business jet, Cat Aviation currently operates two Falcon 2000LXS, two Falcon 7X, one PC-24, and one recently inducted Falcon 6X, the world's first unit of the type in service.
Nomad Aviation operated the aircraft for the first time on May 1, 2024, flying from Basel via Nuremberg, Luxembourg, and Rotterdam to Jersey. The operator's fleet includes two G650ERs, one GV, one Global 5000, one Falcon 7X, one Falcon 8X, and one ACJ319-100.
